Action: Open to anyone who might be in the Battle Dome

[Artemis comes awake with a groan, aching everywhere, laying sprawled on something cold and hard. Metal? She couldn't tell, but it was certainly not where she'd last been. It was dark, the blackness so thick that she could make out nothing around her. She searches her memory, trying to remember what had happened, but her memories were steady and clear through the last battle and up to the team departing for the flight home again. This was not the bio-ship, at least she was pretty sure it wasn't. Who had turned out the lights? Had something gone wrong?]

Miss Martian? Aqualad?

[There was no answer to her mental probe, making her think that wherever she was, M'gann didn't have the team linked up. Maybe they'd crashed? She tried out loud instead.]

Robin? Superboy? Anyone? Hello?

[There's still no answer, so she moves, pushing herself up on her hands and knees, wincing at the way her body protests the movement. The lights come on with a suddenness and a brightness that has her slamming her eyes closed against the piercing glare even as her ears register the sound of movement. And then she's rolling because something's shooting at her and her hand drops to her holster, only to come up empty.

Her bow's gone. Hell, her entire holster is gone, and she is definitely not dressed in her uniform and what the hell happened on the flight back to Happy Harbor??]

Oh you have got to be kidding me.

So, uh, I'm still not entirely certain that this isn't some epic attempt at a very bad joke but someone told me these things are how people communicate here? Although at the moment, I'm just feeling really ridiculous sitting here talking to a book...

[Artemis has mostly recovered from her harried awakening earlier in the day and after getting a grasp of the basics of the place, she heads into the main part of the village to seek out some real clothes (first stop priority because whoever picked the outfits for this place was not planning for the weather) and steps back out looking a little more like herself. The items shop and weapons shop follow, because she feels a little naked without her bow and she's hoping that might turn up here as well. That accomplished, she'll start hunting for a place to find some food before figuring out what she should do next.]

It's weird at first, but you'll get used to talking to books after a while. If you don't want to talk, there's always the option to write.

I'm not sure a book writing to me would be any stranger, but then at least I wouldn't look silly sitting here talking to myself. Then again, I suppose if everyone does it, I suppose it wouldn't be all that strange.

Considering all the other things that have and could happen, a journal you can talk to is pretty low on the strange list.

Yep. [All New Feathers gotta learn about the experiments, sooner or later. And the drafts, but one thing at a time.] What do you know so far? Just so I won't accidentally repeat stuff.

The wings. The trapped. The multiple worlds. I don't know, my head's still spinning a bit.

After a while, it all make sense. Or you can stop thinking about them too much and take it easy.

But I'd like to add that people can also arrive here from different points of time.

It's a little hard to avoid thinking about it at the moment.

The time thing? What I mean is...even if you have people from the same world, they're not necessarily taken from the time time period. You might meet friends from your past, or your future.

I'm not sure I have any here. Not that I've encountered yet, anyway. [Not from her past or her future, although she was still trying to figure out where and how Robin & Robin fit in or if this was just some ridiculous prank.]

But I'll remember that, if I ever do.

Your friends might be here, they might not. There's no set patterns behind who comes and go.

[Like how he spent months alone, until a friend from his world arrived. Alas, his best friend left a long time ago.]
